Delicious Chocolate Caramel Mousse made with just two ingredients – mars bars and double cream! So simple and incredibly easy
Why hello.
What we have here is the most incredible thing you will ever eat with just 2 ingredients!
Mars Bars, and double cream – melt them together and they make the most insanely delicious caramel chocolate mousse. Who knew? You HAVE to try this!
These 2 Ingredient Mars Bar Chocolate Mousse pots were the staple treat of my teenage sleepovers… since they’re no bake and so easy, you can totally trust kids (or teenage girls, or baking novices) to make them.
The melted Mars Bars gives these mousses a delicious fudgey chocolatey caramel flavour. They’re SO incredibly rich that just a tiny ramekin full is enough to satisfy even the sweetest tooth (aka me!).
Unlike lots of chocolate mousses, there is no raw egg in this 2 Ingredient Mars Bar Chocolate Mousse!
You COULD take it up to a 3 ingredient mousse by adding some salt for a salted caramel chocolate mousse, or some rum or baileys…. 😍
- For the mousse
- 6 full size Mars Bars
- 400ml double cream
- For the mousse:
- Prepare four small ramekins or bowls.
- Next, pour the double cream into a saucepan and start to heat gently. Add in five chopped up mars bars. Stir as they slowly dissolve into the cream - which will take 10 - 15 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool before pouring it into the ramekins. Top each mousse with a slice of mars bar. Pop the mousses into the fridge to cool completely, which will take up to two hours.
