Nutella addicts walk this way! Fudgy, chocolatey nutella cookies are sandwiched together with lots more nutella! SO good!
Happy Monday! It’s a holiday here in the UK (and maybe elsewhere too!) so I thought I’d share with you THE easiest and most delicious Nutella cookies ever! Perfect for whipping up for an afternoon treat.
Meet my melt in the mouth, richly chocolatey and decadent Nutella cookies – sandwiched together with lots more nutella. Basically if you are or you know a nutella addict, you NEED to make these!
These Easy Nutella Sandwich Cookies would be perfect for any nutella addict… and I know there are a lot of us out there! I’ve made nutella brownies, nutella cookies, nutella cupcakes and eaten a whole lot of the stuff straight from the jar, but these cookies have to be the most intense and most delicious nutella delivery system yet!
Would you believe that you can whip these cookies up using only FOUR ingredients? Nutella, eggs, sugar and flour! We’ll then sandwich them together with – you guessed it – more nutella! There’s really no point being coy at this point – really dollop it on and then sandwich two cookies together.
I used a tablespoon of cookie dough to make each of my cookies, and they turned out way too big – I’d recommend a scant teaspoon for your perfectly poppable bite-sized Nutella Sandwich cookies.
I hope you love these!
- 1 jar Nutella (400g)
- 150g plain flour
- 1 large free range egg
- 120g caster sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste
- pinch salt
- Preheat your oven to 180c and prepare one very large, or two smaller baking sheets with parchment paper or non stick baking mats.
- In a small bowl, combine two thirds of the jar of nutella (microwave the whole thing for about twenty seconds to make it easier to scoop - just make sure you get all of the gold label off first) with the sugar, flour, vanilla, egg and salt. Mix everything together well.
- Next, use a teaspoon to portion walnut sized lumps of dough. Roll each one in the palm of your hand, then pop onto the baking tray. Press down lightly with your fingertips or a spatula.
- Bake for 12 -15 minutes, until the surfaces are cracked. Remove from the oven and leave to cool on the baking tray. Once completely cooled, pair up cookies of similar size, and generously dollop nutella onto one, then sandwich together.

Cookie sandwiches are so yummy! I had an oatmeal raisin + vanilla ice cream sandwich when I was in Los Angeles but I think a yummy Nutella (or peanut butter) filling could be delicious, too.

Kerry, that is a serious dose of chocolately food porn lady! They look utterly scrumptious and don’t think they’d last very long in this house at all π

I love the way you say not to be shy about the nutella – agree completely, if you are going to do it, do it properly!

How did you have the self control to not eat all of these so you had enough to photograph?! I would have been caught with Nutella all over me and my camera abandoned.
