Flipping the perfect quesadilla!

August 11, 2011 By Kerry Cooks 2 Comments

If that sounds like a euphemism for something, I can promise you it’s not!

When I wrote my post on how to make quesadillas, I had a little trouble flipping them successfully.

Since then I’ve been eating lots of quesadillas in the name of research (all for you – I’m so selfless!!!) and I’ve found the solution!

Just put your filling all on one half of the tortilla.

Fold the top over and press down (remember – melted cheese is the glue)

And…… Flip!!! It’s much easier to flip like this than as two tortillas on top of each other as it’s much harder for the filling to come out.

Voila! Anyone who already knew that – can you please come to my house and supervise my future cooking endeavours?

Share the love!

if you added a little cheese to the bare half and got it melty, then you might form an even better seal on the top veggies when you fold it over and press.
