July #CakeClub Round-Up

July 29, 2015 By Kerry Cooks 5 Comments

Find lots of inspiration on what to bake this weekend with a run-down of delicious cakes from fellow bloggers!

Earlier in July I started a new blogging link up called #CakeClub. If you’re not familiar, a link up is a sharing party with recipes from different blogs. Let’s take a look at the entries for July…. which ones catch your fancy?

To everyone who linked up to the first Cake Club – THANK YOU so much! I hope you’ll be back in August and don’t forget you can link up any cake, new or old, that you’d like to! Plus, join the Cake Club pinterest board (where I pin all your cakes!) here:

Follow Kerry {KerryCooks.com}’s board Cake Club on Pinterest.Let’s take a look at the cakes that really caught my eye this month – see the full link up below – just click on the image to see the recipe.

  • Triple Layer Mud Cake by Made With Pink – have you seen Andrea’s new blog design? It’s absolutely beautiful! This cake looks SO chocolatey!

  • Great Grandmother’s Sponge Cake by Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary – I LOVE the family history and tradition behind this cake and it looks delicious (of course!).

  • Formula 1 Cake by Supper in the Suburbs – I’m not good at working with fondant myself which is why I especially admire this awesome cake! Perfect for any racing fans!

  • Speckled Raspberry and Vanilla Cake by Coriander Queen – This is just the epitome of summer baking – fresh fruit, cream, and a perfectly light and fresh sponge – perfect!

  • Rhubarb Vanilla Buttermilk Cake by Baking Queen 74 – Have you discovered Lucy’s blog yet? She loves her slow cooker, but this yummy recipe was baked in a regular oven.

That Grandmother’s Sponge Cake sounds so good. Cake + berries are wonderful in the summer.
