Now We Are Four

So yep, this is a blog post about cats! If you’re more of a dog person, I apologise – come back later for a recap of this week’s Great British Bake Off episode!

Today is Marty and Milo’s birthday! Happy birthday boys! We tragically lost Marty in December. For such a little guy, he sure has left a massive hole in our lives.

Today Milo will get a birthday tin of tuna and extra cuddles and playtime.

This past weekend we started fostering two kittens for a few weeks… we’re hoping that Milo will see that these tiny (and very cute) little things aren’t any threat to him and we’ll get to keep them… fingers crossed!

I know I’m a little late with my comment but I have such bad ‘cat fever’ right now. I think it’s the opposite of ‘baby fever’ which I should have since the little one is on her way ๐Ÿ™‚ I keep sending photos of cats to Marty that I want to adopt but, sadly, he said we need to wait awhile longer. Booo…

Ohmigosh you HAVE to get a cat! Cats love babies, its proven by science! Imagine how great it would be for the little one growing up with a kitty best friend!

Those kittens! We always had black cats when I was a kid, so I have an extra soft spot for them now. Yours are so cute! I hope Milo takes to them so they can stay.

Thank you Georgina! Me too! It’s such a shame a lot of people aren’t keen on black cats

Milo is the spitting image of my favourite cat Otto. He had the sweetest personality and I miss him every single day. I can’t get another cat because my heart is still broken about him.

Aw I’m so sorry to hear that Lorraine! We never really get over losing something so amazing do we. If you are ever in the UK, Milo is available for cuddles!

Ah…another kitty lover. Our Tootie is the joy of our lives. The saying that “dogs have a master but cats have a staff” is so true. And guess who is Tootie’s staff? Yep, and we are glad to do it. Your kitties are so darling. Would love to add to our family but……
