Happy Friday! Do the shortest weeks always end up feeling like the longest ones, or is it just me?
Since I last saw you I’ve been here there and everywhere! On Friday we spent the day in Leeds, wandering around, getting rained on, and enjoying fresh falafel and hummus at humpit and watermelon based cocktails at The Botanist.
We also visited the Corn Exchange and the market, both of which are beautiful old buildings. The market reminded me of Borough market – such a lovely historic place to wander around (and enjoy a nutella crepe!). It was raining the whole day so it was nice to be out of the wet!
Saturday, Sunday and Monday were spent doing lots of jobs around the house and on my blog. I started off with an impressively long to do list (clear out attic being one of the jobs!) and managed to cross off quite a few things – hurrah! I also went to classes at the gym three days in a row but forgot to take any photo evidence.
So just imagine there’s a smug gym selfie here.
The weather has been SO glorious these past few days! On Monday we went to a nearby park to get an ice cream. The cherry blossoms are in bloom now – I love this time of year!
On Tuesday I realised that my blog had been hacked. SUPER stressful! Thankfully and with the help of Jo at Geek Fairy, Kerry Cooks is now back on track! Apologies to anyone who got redirected to a dodgy site in the meantime.
Tuesday afternoon we went down to London for my cousin Matthew’s wedding party to Vicky! We stayed in an apartment in Finsbury Park with my brother and his girlfriend and my parents.
I’d made some sugar cookies and some S’mores bars for the wedding cake buffet
And the next day we mooched around Borough market a bit before heading home.
What are you up to this weekend friends?
x Kerry

What a gorgeous weekend – you really picked the right one to have off with the weather, its been downhill since then! I do love Leeds, its an amazing city for a quick break. Plus, yum crepes. Also I just realised your husband totally reminds me of the dude from Snow Patrol who’s marrying Courtney Cox π

Hasn’t the weather been just glorious, I too love this time of year. The blossom on the trees is just so pretty.

I believe you π Also, I know I already mentioned it on Instagram but I really love the dress you wore to the wedding. Really suites you!
