Happy Friday, friends! This week has been eventful!
This past weekend I went for a wedding dress fitting with my mum and then out to lunch with my parents and their dog afterwards. The Poppy and Pint do a good veggie burger! On Sunday I baked Oatmeal Creme Pies for my friend Emma’s birthday and popped them round with her other birthday presents (including the framed print above). Oh, and everyone freaked out about these chocolate dairy slices that Tesco have started selling. EUGH!
On Tuesday evening we went out to dinner at Cafe Roya in Beeston to celebrate our 8th anniversary. We’re really lucky to have great veggie restaurants in our home town!
On Wednesday evening I headed to City WI, where we were treated to a vintage hairstyling demonstration by the lovely Lucille from Lucille’s locks! I also won a bottle of prosecco – hurrah! I never win anything!
On my travels this week – I’ve noticed that Waitrose have started selling cronuts (well, a cronut rip off…. a fauxnut?), I made lots o cookies, tried out some different make-up for my wedding day, and came across these adorable (if jars can be adorable and THEY CAN) teeny Kilner jars. Too cute!
This weekend I’m doing more baking and heading out on the town in Nottingham with some friends! What are you up to?

That vintage hairstyle class sounds like it’d be so fun. I love vintage style but I just never thought I could pull it off! Also, those Oatmeal Cream Pies look so good. Oatmeal cookies are some of my favorites so I’m sure those would be absolutely delicious!
Thanks Di! They are complicated but she makes them look so easy!
