Happy Friday!
This week has been a pretty quiet one as I’ve been feeling under the weather – the temperatures have shifted so rapidly from summery to autumny that its brought on a bit of a cold.
At the weekend I got back from visiting my parents in Staffordshire – say hi to their border terrier puppy Murphy! I also purchased a cat mask which neither Murphy nor my cats were fooled by. I also got my wedding shoes! Eeee!
On Sunday we attended a christening in north Nottinghamshire, on a rainy, windy day. It was great to see all our friends (and lots of babies!). I also baked some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies with a touch of cinnamon which were deliciously warming on a cold autumnal weekend!
I also did some thrift shopping and got tickets to see one of my favourite ever bands Okkervil River!
Cat stuff! My new cat t-shirt, a shameless attempt to take a selfie with Marty, and Marty’s GIVE ME A TREAT Meow face. Milo was moving too fast when the treats were on offer to capture a picture of him!
This week I started a Facebook page for my blog – if you’d like to head over to Facebook and like it – here’s the link! I also made Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts (you have to try them!) and recapped week five of the Great British Bake-Off!
Ooh and I’ve got a great recipe coming up for you on Monday – it features pumpkin yet again! Stay tuned and have a fab weekend!
