As you read this I am walking 10 miles (after traveling 166 miles on a minibus!) across Somerset to raise money for Macmillan, a charity which reaches out to the one in three of us diagnosed with cancer during our lives, providing practical, medical and financial support and advice, as well as fighting against inequality in the treatment of cancer patients.
I’ll post a few pictures along the route and let you know how I’m getting on!
Please please consider donating a couple of pounds to support Macmillan,- you can donate to our justgiving page here, or you can take a look at the new Macmillan online shop, which has lots of cute christmas cards and baking accessories.
Whats the craziest thing you’ve ever done for charity?
- Four in 10 get cancer – charity (bbc.co.uk)
- Cancer patient’s drugs not covered in P.E.I. (cbc.ca)
- New score can tell doctors how long cancer patients have left to live (eurekalert.org)
